10 Ways To Teach Kids About Our Planet (and how to save it)

So you want to teach the little people in your life about our planet, and why we need to take care of it and each other but don’t want to be all doom and gloom? We get it! We also know that a child’s world can be transformed through stories. Reading out loud to our littles helps them develop background knowledge about their world and helps them to better understand everything around them. It also lays a solid foundation for their beliefs and lives.

As the new school year quickly approaches. We thought it would be great to share a few books that tell great stories about our planet, sustainability, and loving each other. And, if you haven’t already, be sure to visit this link to download some fun coloring pages we created with our very own MamaP illustrations.

The links for these books are to help you source them. They are not affiliate links and we do not receive any compensation for their purchase. We did however discover bookshop.org and think it’s an awesome way to support local bookstores if you purchase any of these books! We hope you enjoy!
